Royal Wood is a Canadian singer/songwriter of ballads and pop music. A Mirror Without appropriately fits into his album A Good Enough Day which focuses on love and lost. In A Mirror Without he seems to be at an uncertain point of life after losing someone very close and important. His overall sound has often been described as similar to Hawksley Workman but I think Royal Wood has a more alternative pop feel where Royal Wood deals more with creating the perfect emotional track.
