Purity Ring is touring with Blue Hawaii this Spring! All tour dates are listed on their website. Grab a lovely cover of Soulja Boy’s “Grammy” below. It actually sounds a bit different than anything on Shrines. It’s glitchy but doesn’t have the programmed lightbulb sound, but don’t worry it’s still pretty awesome.

Time to kick off our week of lists with our favourite concerts covered in 2012!
10. Paper Lions @ The Rivoli 11/13/2012
These guys might be from a tiny island that only takes 20 minutes to drive across, but their loving fans proved that they were worth paying attention to. The group performed sing-able pop tunes to a completely engaged audience and finished off the night with an acoustic song in the middle of the Rivoli backroom.
9. Tanlines @ Wrongbar 4/17/2012
I was introduced to Tanlines from my American blogger friends. This was a concert I actually bought a ticket for. It was hard not to dance to their tropical pop music, even my boyfriend got into it.
