On March 6th Paper Beat Scissors will release their self-titled debut album. It’s an album that flourishes with Tim Crabtree’s haunting voice. Here’s a sneak peak with the track Rest Your Bones. The song is pretty bare compared to the rest of the album but the delicate emotions still pretend themselves in an album about endingss and new beginnings.

Here’s my latest CBC Radio 3 discovery. Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Paper Beat Scissors is a marriage between acoustic guitar and electronic drum tracks. Check out the sweet track called Be Patient with hauntingly simple vocals and a surrounding atmosphere that gives you the goosebumps.
