Seems like we posted tracks by Ox quite a few times recently but haven’t really said much about him. There’s nothing much to him except that he’s from the West Coast and writes simple, yet enjoyable songs. Here’s one he didn’t write though. It’s a cover of Neil Young’s Out On the Weekend and I think he does Neil some justice.

Please don’t drive while stoned, even if it may make you feel like riding on a submarine as Ox sings. From Sudbury, this dude makes some very strangely hypnotic tunes. Because seriously, when you listen to these lyrics they are pretty ridiculous.
