On Saturday, I spent the day listening to the finalists of the Soundclash Music Awards at the Harbourfront Centre. A diverse set of artists from the GTA are competing for a $10,000 cash prize. Winners are selected by a combination of public voting and a jury.
Forest City Lover’s, Kat Burns, took the stage first with her electro-pop project Kashka. Restricted to only 30 minutes per artist, they performed the more popular tunes from Vichada like “Beautiful Distraction.” Continue Reading
