We’ve heard of Doug Hoyer before. This one is a duet with Jeese Northey from Jesse and the Dandelions. It’s a mellow duet with the underlying electronics that pulse like one of those machines at the hospital that show your vital signs.

We haven’t really had a Snow Bank here in Toronto yet. Yesterday’s snowfall lasted maybe 15 minutes and then it melted 15 minutes later. I’m sure the situation is much different in Edmonton where Doug Hoyer is native. It’s not a traditional Christmas song, but it is a must add on your holiday/winter playlist. It’s a song that reminds me of the same letting go of a loved one as Stars‘ Your Ex Lover Is Dead but in a much more upbeat way.
