Digits moved to the UK recently, but it’s hard not to forgive him when he released this sublime mixtape that is completely free. It features tracks from his single project as well as his group project under the monicker Bad Passion. Night Jewel and Gold Zebra both helped rework some of these tunes, that’s why you might recognize some songs but they are slightly different.

We’ve introduced you to Canadian artist Digits before. Now we have lost him to the UK as he has relocated to London! I bid him good luck and will continue following his music as it is so addictive. Modern Mess is a new track that rather outlines the changes in his life. When you look at it, this track is so simple in layout but so damn catchy. In the world of over produced electronic music, this is quite refreshing.

We’ve blogged about Digits before. Well since then he has released an EP Lost Dream available for free download on his Website. With the death of LCD Soundsystem, here comes someone who sounds like a simple stripped down version. Just because there isn’t like a thousand synths playing at a time doesnt mean that Digits isn’t just as hooky! Take a listen to the Lost Dream. “I only want what’s best for you.”.
