Produced by Hawksley Workman was Adaline’s latest Modern Romantics. The Noise is definitely not without it’s hooks. This is a damn addictive track.

This is the first track I’ve heard of Adaline and I’m not sure how to describe it. It’s like almost electropop, but it’s almost too strange sounding and underground to be labelled that way. The industrialesque percussion sounds are toe tapping but not too distracting from Adaline’s beautiful voice. Perhaps this strangeness is due thanks in part to the fact Hawksley Workman helped produce it. Whatever it is, I want to hear more and we’ll get the change on November 1st when she releases Modern Romantics.
