Today we’re premiering “Fell Your Love” from two rising artists Julian Taylor and Kinnie Star. The video which we are premiering today features the two around nature as they deliver soulful feel-good pop.

The Julian Taylor Band has garnered high praise for their masterpiece double-album Desert Star. Frank Gutch Jr. at No Depression said, “Desert Star is good and sometimes outstanding music front to back. Album of the Year? I think so.” Cashbox Canada’s Pat Blythe gushed, “Desert Star is, by a country mile, one of my favourite albums of all time. This is music I will be listening to for years to come.” The album Side One’s “Just a Little Bit,” received airplay on major radio stations in Germany and the U.S., and was included in the Top 40 U.S. chart for the week ending July 23, 2016. The pure, vintage soul of “Set Me Free” is so captivating, that it spent six weeks on the CBC Radio 2 Top 20, peaking at No. 2. “Fever,” which combines reggae riddim, rock ‘n’ roll guitars, soul horns, and catchy pop hooks, also enjoyed a lengthy stint on CBC Radio 2 Top 20, peaking at No. 9.

Self-described as “pilgrims of funk, soul ‘n’ roll,” the Julian Taylor Band makes music as eclectic and all-encompassing as their taste will allow. They move effortlessly between vintage soul, tasty funk, tender balladry, indie rock, and even the occasional foray into social comment, solo acoustic, reggae and psychedelia – all done expertly. Leading the band, Taylor boasts a drop-dead killer voice, impressive guitar work, and a knack for writing catchy, earworm choruses – all of which pegs him as an authentic, eclectic talent for anyone’s palate.

Desert Star has been a labour of love for Taylor and the band, clearly evident by the prolific flurry of songs that resulted from their hard work.
