Weird Tuesday EP Highlight:

Essentially confessional folk wrapped up in an indie rock package. Despite occasional spurts of noisy electric guitar, you never lose the sense that you are communicating directly and intimately with one individual. What makes it odd and idiosyncratic is Diescher’s lack of cloying sentimentality as he unflinchingly describes (sometimes untunefully) events such as the following:
“you could see it in his eyes the day she died when he heard the words you are no son of mine he’d been searching for god in the devil’s dustbowl the front door slammed and the boy became a man”
