From a bed of experimental beats and noises a wispy, ethereal voice rises — its very existence so tenuous that you question whether you are imagining it. OK, so that’s the first track. The other one features a more substantial electronic beat (reminiscent of Peter Gabriel), and Louder’s voice comes into sharper focus as well. And yet, for all the impressive self-harmonizing, Louder still maintains a certain demure detachment, as if they are still vulnerable while being frank and open.

Oh, and they open up this week’s edition of Weird Tuesday.
