A Weird Tuesday EP Highlight:

Brenna Lowrie is something of a one-woman creative behemoth as she writes and performs her own material with the heft of an entire band. Nothing here is simple. The arrangements are rich and complex, and she covers an impressive range of musical styles over the course of six tracks. Weirded-out psych folk would be a general description, but she throws a couple of curve balls, such as the garage surf of “Death in Venice” and the up-tempo alt country of “Now (Again)”. Her sweet voice slides as easily into the tribal chant of “Burial Ground” as it does into the baroque pop of “Oh Lady”. Unpredictable melodies and the odd down note keep things interesting, dark, and yes, most definitely weird.
