Pavilion, WILDE, Language Arts, Obuxum, Phoenix Pagliaci, Loji @ The Garrison 5/20/2016

On Friday, Wavelength and Manifesto collaborated on a show to meld their audiences together for a night of awesome music.

The night began with electropop duo Loji and their Junior Boys inspired tunes. Fun fact: one of the members you might recognize from Degrassi. The pair traded vocal duties and meshed their slightly two different styles of delivery in harmony.

The next set by Phoenix Pagliacci was part story part rap set. There was a story behind every inspirational tune that we were presented with.

Obuxium was the night’s DJ, and also helped played the backing to Pagliacci’s set. She also followed up with her own set of experimental electronic and creative remixes that was full of funk.

Language Arts played as a band this time with Kristen Cudmore offering endearing banter between songs. The majority of their set was from Able Island and was sparkling and fun.

Next we took a trip to the soul with WILDE. If you haven’t yet do give their Flashlight EP a listen.

The night ended with Pavilion (formerly Mercury Girls) with rock which complemented the warming weather.

The night was full of great surprises with a little something for everyone. Click above to check out our gallery!
