Sometimes you look at someone on a bus, a book store, or wherever there’s a semblance of peace, and you can see into their eyes for a second when passing them. You can’t help but feel like something’s been taken from you. You find yourself talking to this person, making your link with them larger and larger each day. Then, with one feel swoop, they take more than your breath, and you can’t tell whether it’ll make you stronger or not. The Little has faced that when she sings, having a ukelele and piano played by the spirit that still resounds in her. The human heart is a mysterious thing, and this Edmonton folk player is searching for answers through song.
