A Saturday night EP highlight:

This is a good night for club music, but siblings Shamik and Vivek have a neat bundle of highly original dance-oriented music that transcends the mere need for a good beat. Some Eastern influences in “Snake” and “Monsoon” are a nice touch, as are the vocal harmonies throughout. “Snake” actually has a glam sheen to it, whereas the harp-like strings on the ballad “Sincerity” lend a baroque air. On each and every track the duo pull off something fresh to impress us. Even the conventionality of “Unhappy” is blown apart with choppy glitches and sudden change-ups.
