A Weird Tuesday EP highlight:

The EP ‘Pyongyang Suntan’ may only contain 4 tracks but it covers a lot of ground. The title track is hazy psych folk with some backward tape work that would make the Fab Four smile. Then there’s the pedal steel twang of the stoned country folk song “God’s Bad Poems”. The whispered vocals give you the creeps on “Cthulhu Beaucoup Cthulhu”, which features a slow swamp boogie rhythm. To top it all off, the acid rock number “The Milk Witch” sounds like a lost track from Iron Butterfly’s ‘Innagadadavida’. You won’t need any chemical assistance — ‘Pyongyang Suntan’ is so trippy it will give you a natural high.
