A slow burn gem from Edmonton’s The Secretaries. It has the earmarks of some of Jefferson Airplane’s trippier trips, but this one keeps things on an even keel, and the brass instruments give it a distinctive touch. Dreamy female vocals, grinding fuzz guitar and a loose Haight Ashbury style bass-line are all cooked up with a contemporary indie outlook. A wonderful way to spend 6 minutes.
