Perks of a festival as big as CMW is you will find music whatever venue you might stumble into. That’s how I ended up in the backroom of Cameron House (ew, that sounds dirty) and saw The Loodies. The Montreal-based four piece reminded me of easygoing sounds of The Morning Benders with more electric undertones. Although, at times, the plugged in acoustic guitar was drowning out the 60s Beatles-esque electric guitar licks. Little more balance in the sound would have helped mesh the hush vocals. There is potential here, and room for improvement as well
