Saidah Baba Talibah @ The Garrison 5/8/2014
I walked into the Garrison yesterday and previously unacquainted with the first two acts that were performing. Saidah Baba Talibah really impressed me with their alternative soul style with powerhouse vocals and unwavering energy.

No Sinner @ The Garrison 5/8/2014
Vancouver’s No Sinner kept up the momentum of the night with some straignt up rock n’ roll tunes. Their set culminated with the destruction of a paper mache bunny. Fun fact the name actually comes from frontwoman Colleen Rennison’s last name (spelt backwards). Check out their new video for “Runnin'” below.

Thomas D'Arcy @ The Garrison 5/8/2014
Before heading out, I caught part of Thomas D’Arcy’s set. The former Carnations and Small Sins member changed up the mood of the night with his pop-style.
