Jordan Hughes is a multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver. Apparently he played every single instrument on Born in the Grave himself. Not to mention recorded, mixed, mastered all these songs. That’s DIY for ya. The photo he uses as the album art is also by his grandfather Edward D. Hughes. What we get from the album is a mix of psych, shoegaze and garage rock with a bit of punk edge. From listening to it, you would think this was recorded during a jam session in a garage then tracked individually by one dude.
