by Tiana Feng Last night Long Winter held Volume 4 of its wintery music and art series. I was a bit under the weather so I peeped in for a little bit and caught Alvvays and Sheezer in the main room. — Alvvays heated up the night, welcoming warmer weather with their surf-pop tunes. They’ve received some buzz lately, but their on stage presence remained modest, no tricks, putting their music to the forefront including a faster-paced new song. — If you were ever a fan of Weezer, you’d probably dig Sheezer, a female cover band that were probably more excited to perform these songs than the actual band these days. Classics performed included “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So”. The audience had already filled up the hall and were singing along to all the songs.
