Originating from Guelph, Adverteyes is the project of writer/producer Collin Harrington. His latest album Cultures enlists players from other bands including as Bry Webb and the Providers, Niagara Symphony Orchestra, Del Bel, and Sunparlour Players. The record was recording in bedrooms, outdoors, rehearsal spaces and more, giving it a nice organic raw feel yet thankfully not labelled “lo-fi”. The album is actually a lot of fun as you venture more towards the middle. “When I was Jung” has some east-asian sounding influences and other songs have entertaining lyrics.
