Rococode @ The Garrison 3/20/2013
Our other stop on Wednesday of CMW was to the Garrison. There we caught Rococode, Apparat Organ Quartet and Shiny Darkly.

We walked in during Shiny Darkly’s set. The boys are from Denmark and were dressed in rocker attire to match their 80’s post-punk music. However, there was just something missing from the set and I thought they were quite forgettable.

Next up was Iceland’s Apparat Organ Quartet with moog and synths galore. They may have looked old, but these dudes played music that sounded like the future. At the same time there were parts that reminded me of the 70’s. I also assisted in recording them for Exclaim! TV the next day and they are hilarious dudes.

Rococode @ The Garrison 3/20/2013
Rococode finished the night off at The Garrison. Their set was half an hour late because Apparat took a while to tear down all their gear. They performed a few songs off Gun, Sex and Glory including “Empire” and “Ghost II”. They also played a new tune titled “Diamond”. They seemed a bit defeated that they could not play more.
