Whosarmy @ El Mocambo (Upstairs) 3/19/2013

Upstairs at the El Mocambo was more upbeat than what was below. The boys of Whosarmy played to what appeared to be a bunch of teen girl fans that adored their pop rock.

Vaudeville Smash @ El Mocambo (Upstairs) 3/19/2013
Melbourne, Australia’s Vaudeville Smash commanded the stage with the essentric front man who wasn’t afraid to show off some dance moves. Their music was fun saxophone infused disco pop.

Old English @ El Mocambo (Upstairs) 3/19/2013
Lastly, Old English played songs from their latest release Prose & Kahns. Their songs sounded a lot like the record. A 7 piece band was present. I found the sax, trumpet and trombone players were a little bit awkward stage wise when it wasn’t their turn to play parts. They’re pretty new so this will probably change when they play more shows.
