By Saturday, I was practically dying of tiredness, but I was up early already for the Kops vinyl sale at 10am. The M for Montreal boat cruise was a lovely relaxing event and dude, it’s on a concert on a boat.
Kicking things off was the slightly hungover looking Hooded Fang. Despite playing multiple shows (as Phedre and Hooded Fang), they managed to still play a decently hook-filled and energetic set.

Next up, Teenager served up some wild rock tunes that probably could be heard on all levels of the boat.
Mac DeMarco was the only artist I saw twice all NXNE (not really by choice), but I didn’t mind because they’re always so much fun. Their guitarist even jumped onto the railings and did a solo from up there.
Last up on the boat cruise was Bleached from California with some bubblegum Dum Dum Girls-esque pop. I didn’t catch the entire set though because they took too long to figure out that the squeaky feedback was from having lamps that were too loud.
