It always amazes me when I find something great that happens to be Canadian over at Bandcamp. Today’s is Edmonton’s Twin Library who’s July 12th release Softer Seasons is a name your price/free download here. The album was recorded last spring, and it sort of reflects the laid back nature of the season. Although held back and subdued, the lyrics are poetic and thoughtful with I Asked Her to Build Me a Plane probably being one of the hookier ones of the bunch in both rhythm and melody.
