Gavin Slate’s work is not limited to just his recent 4 song EP Life as a Salesman. He’s had songs placed in a TIFF film as well as the television show West 49 Ambition. He’s a regular performer at Toronto’s The Supermarket at “Wednesday’s Go Pop!”. Life as a Salesman was produced by Colin Cripps who has worked with artists such as Sarah McLachlan and Bryan Adams. Take a listen to Life as a Salesman, the title track off the EP which gives you a feel for what Gavin is all about, just some damn good songwriting. Not to mention some lovely cello playing.
