For some reason I ignored this for a while because their e-mail description told me they were a dance rock band, and usually when people tell me that it’s a disaster. I have to say, I’m glad I gave this Ottawa band a chance. Their recent release Expansion Forces, does not cease to impress me. Sure they are a pretty indie-dance rock band but their tracks show a lot of thoughtfulness and care and an addictiveness that almost measures up to Mother Mother (who is one of my favourite bands).
