One of my most recent non-Canadian obsessions is New York’s Oh Land and her self-titled debut album. She’s an electronic pop artist that can actually sing. Her voice isn’t muffled or twisted to fit the arrangement, rather the arrangements are done around her voice. Her album has been on repeat for a while now. It’s addictive, catchy and just a lot of fun. It’s like Mother Mother’s Eureka, not in the way it sounds, but in the same way that it’s addictive and uplifting.
