Don’t let the band name fool you. They may be called The Wilderness of Manitoba but the band is actually based in Ontario. They have a new EP coming out called Summer Fires which can be pre-ordered here . Check out Hermit a track that is simple and peaceful representation of Canadian folk music. The song makes me wish I had one of those old time houses with a porch and a swinging chair where I can sit lazily and watch as the world passes by.
