The sound is exactly what it sounds like it would be! Montreal’s The High Dials delivers a teenage love anthem. Very appropriately, their most recent album is named Anthems From Doomed Youth. Although it sounds almost like it would be a collection of wrist cutting emo songs, it’s far from that. Their songs almost mock and poke fun of youth love. Other songs such as Uruguay take you back to Beetles-esque rock songs that are welcome the listener to sing along.
