Boca Chica are a pretty funky alternative country folky band from Pittsburgh. You hear the country in Not on Christmas Eve a pretty upbeat song for a song about being dumped on Christmas. Somehow, I seem to have these sort of problems around this time of year. And it sucks. Snow Angels is a more indie folk song. It sounds pretty sweet but it’s a song about not having enough heat.. so much that the water in your toilet is frozen. Hahaha. Boca Chica’s lyrics are so detail oriented they’re adorable.
