Acorn is more than just a nut on a tree, they are Ottawa native indie/folk band. In 2008, they were nominated for the Polaris Music Prize and their latest album No Ghosts shows a marriage between acoustic and electronic. The album was recorded in Northern Quebec and carries much influence from there as they are always influenced by their surroundings. Take a listen to Restoration
