The Icy Shores are a Minneapolis-based indie rock band made up of singer/guitarist Nick Negarty, drummer/backing vocalist Nick Larsen and bassist Shane Stubblefield. Their latest album The Opposite of Your Heart was released on Catlick Records back in May. Their sound heads towards the pop punk side without it falling into a cliche. That is not to say that there are no hooks. You’re almost guaranteed to join in on the “Shanananana“s in Almost There. Family Album shows off the Icy Shores ability to have a balance of how “hard” their music is.
