The Sound is the latest release by American artist, Color Theory aka Brian Hazard. The strangest thing about this is I saw it on a leak site, but Brian commented it on the topic himself saying it was his best album yet. It brought me to this site, and found soundcloud links to listen to the entire album!

I love that The Sound perfectly balances electronic music with Brian’s musical talent. He has a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance which makes for some beautiful piano parts throughout. My favourite example of this is probably “A Safe Distance” which is beautiful and strongly piano driven. Don’t get too distracted by the music though, pay some attention to the well thought out and haunting lyrics.
