[Album Review]Despicable Me Soundtrack

Even though Despicable Me was one of the cutest and funniest movies to come out this summer, the music for it is only OK. The music is scored and some performed by Pharell the dude from the Neptunes and N*E*R*D. The movie had unspoken parts that worked well with the music Pharell scored but if you were just to listen to it as an album its pretty mediocre and sort of hard to get through.

The music does remind you of classic Neptunes a bit but its like they never really adjusted to the 21st century.

This is the title track that you see in all the commercials, it works well with the scenes from the movie but pretty boring as a song:
